As a dedicated and passionate softball player, I have been immersed in the game for over nine years, beginning my journey in Little League and transitioning to a travel team
in 2020. Currently, I play for Caldera High School under Coach Lisa Kinzle, where I proudly serve as the starting 3rd baseman earning my spot on the varsity team my freshman season. My stats reflect my hard work and commitment: a .328 batting average, .427 on-base percentage, and .958 fielding percentage.
In addition to my high school performance, I also play travel ball with the NW Vandals, coached by Rickie Morton. In this competitive environment, I showcase versatility as the team’s utility player with my primary positions being 3rd baseman and centerfield. Last season my stats included a .360 batting average, .455 on-base percentage, and .877 fielding percentage. I believe my versatility comes from studying the game of softball outside of play time and has allowed me to adapt to various positions while consistently contributing to team success.
I am consistently working to improve my strength and conditioning throughout the year training at a local athletic facility, OC Performance and consistent batting lessons to execute on my long-term softball goals.
“Analiegh has a high-level softball IQ, which translates well to her ability to play multiple positions. She is always well prepared defensively, has a strong arm, and continues to
improve on her footwork and angles both in the infield and outfield positions. Offensively, she has a great understanding of the strike zone and continues to improve on her pitch selection at the plate. She can hit gap to gap with power potential and can execute well situationally. She is intelligent on the bases with an aggressive style that puts pressure on the defense and runs on the board. Analiegh also works hard to continue her growth as a softball player by continually working on her skill set offensively and defensively (outside of practices/games) as well as incorporating a strength and conditioning program during the off season.
Outside of her softball skills and expertise, Analiegh is a wonderful person. She supports her teammates on the field, gives back to her community, and is stellar in the
classroom.” Coach Rick Morton
Beyond softball, I enjoy giving back to my community. One of my most cherished experiences has been working with the Bend South Little League Challenger Team, where I had the privilege of helping young athletes with disabilities learn and enjoy the game of softball. In addition to softball, I participated in volleyball, having played both school and travel ball through my freshman year. I also enjoy exploring the beautiful Oregon Coast and engaging in extracurricular school activities.
Looking ahead, my dream is to play softball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, sports medicine, or coaching. I am excited about the opportunity
to combine my passion for sports with my desire to help others through fitness and coaching.
As a dedicated athlete and student, I am eager to continue my journey and contribute to a college program that values hard work, teamwork, and the spirit of competition.
