cadence kennedy

Hi, my name is Cadence Kennedy, I’m a sophomore at Mountain View High School in Bend, Oregon. 

I am a middle infielder, catcher, and a utility player for both the NW Vandals-Morton and my high school Varsity team. I throw and bat right-handed. 

My current unweighted GPA is a 3.86 and I am planning on graduating with an honors diploma in 2027.

I am a three-sport athlete, playing varsity basketball, varsity softball, and also played JV soccer this year. I am constantly playing some sort of sport, but in my free time I enjoy reading, hanging out with my family and friends, babysitting, and I love to wakeboard. I’m also involved in my Young Life group as a student leader who helps organize and plan the weekly events.

I love the sport of softball and it has given me the sisters I always wanted. More than just friendships come out of the game though. Learning how to play with difficult people, bouncing back from adversity, playing through pain and learning how to get coached by different styles are all good skills in life. I love the softball environment and the good feeling I get when playing

the game!
