Finley Schweigert

 Hi my name is Finley Schweigert. I will be a senior at Marist High school, in Eugene Oregon, the fall of 2026. 

I am an outfielder but I'm always happy to play anywhere my team needs me. I started outfield varsity for my high school team all 3 seasons. I received 1st team all league outfield my sophomore and junior season. My junior season I had a batting average of .474 as my team made way to the quarterfinals for 4A.  For the North West Vandals I also play outfield. I bat left handed while I throw right handed. 

My current GPA is 3.6. I take multiple honors and AP classes and plan to continue that path my senior year. 

I played volleyball my freshman and sophomore year and I played basketball my freshman season. In my free time I love to babysit, bake, spend time outside and spend time at the lake. 

At school I am involved in many activities such as a Christian Leadership class, Suicide prevention program, as well as student ambassadors for Marist.  

Softball has been something that I have always been able to rely on. It is the sport that I find confidence in, i’ve learned to communicate with others, how to be a better teammate and it has taught me hard lessons along the way. After I tore my meniscus, MCL, and PCL in the summer of my sophomore club season, a new perspective of hard work was abruptly brought to me. I now worked harder than I ever have before because I know what it’s like to be laying in bed unable to walk and see the people take their opportunity for granted.
