Irene VanDyke

Irene 'The Machine' VanDyke here!  I am in Glencoe High School's class of 2025 in Hillsboro, OR.  My primary position is 3B, but I am also a Utility player having covered OF, 2B and 1B when needed.  I'm a solid hitter with fast base running speed.

I have been playing Varsity Softball since Freshman year, and have been playing softball since I was 6 years old!  I tried a little soccer, but softball is my true passion.  Watching my older sister play softball, I couldn't wait until it was my turn to take the field!  

I've really enjoyed developing my physical and mental skills for the game as I've progressed over the years.  I've learned a lot from my coaches and the weight training coaches at Glencoe.  Armed with knowledge and a strong will to reach my goals, I have really grown as an athlete.  I would love to bring my skills to contribute to my future college team's success on the field!

In the classroom, I plan to study Accounting in college.  I am a 4.0 (unweighted) GPA student. irene vandyke glenco high school
