Isabella Lauerman

My name is Isabella Lauerman, and I am in the class of 2025. I am a middle infielder and outfielder. I bat left and throw right. At the plate I can successfully bunt, slap, or hit, depending on the situation. My current GPA is 4.1 and I will graduate with an Honors Diploma from an IB High School.

I started playing softball through my local park and rec district when I was 5. I played multiple sports until middle school when I decided softball was my passion and what I wanted to focus on full time. I started travel softball at 10U. Since then, I have played every fall, spring, and summer. I have been fortunate to have several different coaches that have all provided me with valuable tools to help further my skills.

This sport has taught me how to be supportive of others, embrace failure and celebrate success. Being part of a team sport provides invaluable skills that will follow me throughout my life. It has also taught me the value of hard work and how you get out what you put in.

I don’t have much free time between school, softball, and a part time job, but when I do have down time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, camping, floating the river and just relaxing.

Academics and softball are very important to me. I look forward to continuing my softball career while pursuing my degree in college! I hope to be able to give back to young girls after my time playing is over. This sport has given me so much, I want to provide the same opportunities to other impressionable girls.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me!
